'Australian Innovations' stamps Ultrasound Imaging Technology: Ultrasound scans are used to reveal the size, position and even the sex of an unborn baby. Invented in 1976, this technology provided a much safer method for expectant mothers. Fact: Before ultrasound scans were invented, harmful x-rays were used to gather information on unborn babies. Stamps on Gynecology and Obstetrics- Malaysia
Malaysia issued aset of three stamps to commemorate XVIII World Conference of Gynaecology and Obstetrics held in Kuala Lumpur in 2006. The stamps were released on 06 Nov 2006.
